CDGA Tour Edge Trifecta Series

Jeffrey Messacar and Jeff Hart captured the Senior Division Title in the CDGA Senior Tour Edge Trifecta Series, while Liz Yacono and Patricia Polachek earned the Women's Division crown in 2023.

Returning for a third year after a popular debut on the CDGA Social Competitions slate is the CDGA Tour Edge Trifecta Series! Women of all ages and men age 55 and up will have the opportunity to compete in three different Qualifiers - each with a different format. Those who qualify for the year-end Championships will play a net better ball format at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Format:

Two-Person Team Format
- 2-Person Net Better Ball (June - Qualifier #1 - Phillips Park Golf Course)
- 2-Person Scramble (July - Qualifier #2 - Cog Hill Golf & Country Club - Ravines)
- 2-Person Stableford (August - Qualifier #3 - Glenview Park Golf Club)
- Finals - 2-Person Net Better Ball (September - Arrowhead Golf Club)
Three qualifiers will take place throughout 2024.
Points will be awarded to teams based on finishing order. These points will not be tallied individually, but as a team. The total number of points won at each Tour Edge Trifecta qualifier will be added up and teams earning enough points could qualify for the end-of-the-year Championship.
Teams can participate in more than one qualifier.

Forming a Team:

All men age 55 and above and all women with an official USGA Handicap Index® are welcome to participate, as long as they are active CDGA members. To become a CDGA member for 2024, CLICK HERE.
The registration fee is $200 per team.

Divisions:

Senior Division

For male players, turning 55 as of May 1, 2024 and older
Handicap Index limit of 24.4 or lower
Tees (6,000 – 6,200 yards)

Super Senior (Masters) Division

For male players, turning 65 as of May 1, 2024 and older
Handicap Index limit of 36.4 or lower
Tees (5,600 – 5,900 yards)

Women’s Division

Handicap Index limit of 36.4 or lower
Tees (4,900 – 5,200 yards)

Prizes:

Stay & Play trips to Tullymore in Mecosta County, Michigan will be awarded at the Championships on Sept. 19 and 26 to the top finisher in each of the three divisions.
Prizes and giveaways will also be awarded at qualifiers throughout the year and the Championship from the CDGA, Jersey Mike`s, Tour Edge, Zero Friction and Republic Bank.
At each event, Republic Bank will offer two $5,000 hole-in-one prizes for the first aces made on each designated par 3, with $2,500 going to the individual and $2,500 being donated to the CDGA Foundation.
