Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the My CDGA app ready to use. Do not open the electronic scoring platform until instructed (specific details provided at your starting tee). Read through the Social Competitions / Key Information prior to the event. | Format | This is an 18-hole stroke play team event. All Teams will play in both the Gross and Net divisions. Scoring will be a combined stableford using current handicap indexes. Players are awarded points based upon their score in relation to par on each hole. The winner of either the Gross or Net division will be the team who scores the highest number of points. | ||||||
| Eligibility | Any male and female who are active members of a CDGA with a valid USGA Handicap Index ® are welcome to participate may enter as a team. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations. Players will receive 100% of their handicap. An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event. | ||||||
| Field | 40 Teams competing in both Gross and Net divisions. | ||||||
| Practice Round | The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play. | ||||||
| Golf Carts | Will be provided to each team courtesy of the CDGA. | ||||||
| Caddies | Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie (if available). | ||||||
| Pull Carts | Are permitted. Players are encouraged to bring their own. | ||||||
| Driving Range | Driving range will open at 8:00 a.m. courtesy of the CDGA. | ||||||
| Footwear/Spike Policy | Is NOT in effect | ||||||
