ANNOUNCEMENTS

Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any active CDGA Member who has a current handicap index not exceeding 7.4. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry, and extend special invitations.

FORMAT

All players who qualify for the Championship (June 22 - 25) will play 36 holes of stroke play qualifying on Monday to determine the low 16 advancing to match play. Matches will be conducted Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All matches are 18 holes with the exception of the Championship match, which is 36 holes.

PRIZES

Gift certificates will be awarded to all players who advance to match play.

On Monday, tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. off #1 and #10. For Match Play, see Additional Info section below.

YARDAGE BOOK

The CDGA is proud to partner with PuttView to provide complimentary yardage books to all players at each Illinois State and CDGA Championship. Players will receive their yardage book on Monday at their starting tee.

PRACTICE ROUND

Practice rounds are available June 9 from noon - 2:30 and June 10, 11, 16, & 18 in the morning. There will be a cart fee of $45 + tax. Guests are not permitted.

DRIVING RANGE

The driving range will open at 6:30 a.m., courtesy of the CDGA.

GOLF CARTS

Riding carts are NOT permitted during the Championship.

Spectator carts are not allowed - please view the policy regarding requests for cart usage under the ADA. The policy is located in the link at the top of the page.

CADDIES

Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags, or use a host club caddie (if available).

PULL CARTS

Pull carts are permitted at all events. You are encouraged to bring your own.

FOOD SERVICES

Drinking Water: Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of drinking water to each event. The CDGA will make every effort to arrange for drinking water to be available. However, please note that not all facilities may be able to fulfill this request.

Lunch: Will be provided each day for players, courtesy of the CDGA. Caddies and spectators will pay cash if they wish to purchase lunch.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK (June 22-25) IS BASED ON THE HOST CLUB SCHEDULE AND WEATHER:
Monday - Stroke play qualifying beginning in the morning (36 holes).
Tuesday - Round of 16 matches in the morning. - 7:30 a.m. start
Wednesday - Quarterfinal matches in the morning and Semifinal matches in the afternoon. - 7:30 a.m. morning start / 12:30 p.m. afternoon start
Thursday - Championship match beginning in the morning (36 holes). 7:30 a.m. morning start
