Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.
Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA. ELIGIBILITY
The Championship is open to any amateur who is a current resident of Illinois, has a current handicap not exceeding 10.4, and who has reached his 55th birthday on or before the start of the Championship. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.
FORMAT
This is a 54-hole stroke play Championship taking place September 14 - 16. All players will play 18 holes each on Monday and Tuesday, with the low 35 players and ties advancing to the final 18 holes on Wednesday.
LOW SUPER SENIOR: Players who have reached their 65th birthday on or before September 14, 2026 will also compete for Low Super Senior. If no super seniors advance to the final round, the champion will be the low super senior after 36 holes. PRIZES
Gift certificates will be awarded to all players who finish in the top 10.

STARTING TIMES
On Monday and Tuesday, tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m. off #1 and #10. Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday for those who make the cut.
YARDAGE BOOK
The CDGA is proud to partner with PuttView to provide complimentary yardage books to all players at each Illinois State and CDGA Championship. Players will receive their yardage book on Monday at their starting tee.
PRACTICE ROUND
Practice rounds are available, subject to club availability. There will be a $25 fee to walk or a $50 fee to ride. Practice rounds will be limited on September 12-13 due to a club event.

The driving range will open at 7:00 a.m., courtesy of the CDGA.
GOLF CARTS
Riding carts are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts. A maximum of two carts per group will be allowed.
Spectator carts are not allowed - please view the policy regarding requests for cart usage under the ADA. The policy is located in the link at the top of the page. CADDIES
Individual caddies are permitted at all CDGA-administered events.
PULL CARTS
Pull carts are permitted at all events. You are encouraged to bring your own.
FOOD SERVICES
Drinking Water: Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of drinking water to each event. The CDGA will make every effort to arrange for drinking water to be available. However, please note that not all facilities may be able to fulfill this request.
Breakfast: Will not be available. Lunch: Will be provided each day for players only, courtesy of the CDGA. Caddies and spectators who wish to purchase food will pay with cash or card. On Monday, a hot dog, chips, and drink special will be offered. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the full menu will be available. LOCKER ROOMS

The Championship field will be cut to the low 35 and ties following the second round.
In the event of a tie, a three-hole, aggregate-stroke playoff will commence immediately following the final round. If a tie persists, play will continue on a sudden-victory basis. Should conditions not permit, the CDGA reserves the rights to alter the playoff or tournament format. CLUB INFORMATION
