Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to all professionals, and amateurs with a USGA handicap index not exceeding 2.4, who have reached their 50th birthday on or before July 2, 2026.

FORMAT

This is a one-day, 18-hole stroke play qualifier. The top 15 players will advance to compete in U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifying.

PRIZES

The lowest scoring player will receive a USGA medal.

Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m. off #1 and #10.

YARDAGE BOOK

The CDGA is proud to partner with PuttView for the 2026 Championships season. Yardage books are available for purchase for all CDGA, USGA and Illinois State Championship qualifying sites at THIS LINK. Yardage + Green Map books are $30 per book. This discounted price will automatically be applied at checkout when purchasing through the dedicated link. PuttView is graciously donating 20% of every purchase to the CDGA Foundation.

PRACTICE ROUND

Practice rounds are available after 12 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday and after 2 p.m. Friday - Sunday. There will be an $80 fee, which includes cart and range balls. Guests will be charged $160/person. There is a limit of one practice round per participant.

DRIVING RANGE

The driving range will open at 7:00 a.m.

GOLF CARTS

Riding carts are permitted for Caddies only. Only two carts per group will be allowed and all carts are on a first come, first served basis. Players/Caddies are responsible for all cart fees and MUST adhere to any cart restrictions posted for the day.

Individual caddies are permitted.

PULL CARTS

Pull carts are permitted. You are encouraged to bring your own.

FOOD SERVICES

Drinking Water: Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of drinking water to each event. The CDGA will make every effort to arrange for drinking water to be available. However, please note that not all facilities may be able to fulfill this request.
Lunch: Food and beverage facilities will be open. Players may pay with cash, credit, or sign back to their club account.
