ANNOUNCEMENTS
Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.
Read through the Social Competitions / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA. ELIGIBILITY
Teams may be made up two active CDGA members. Only one has to be a Veteran that has served in the Armed Forces.
FORMAT
The Two-Person Veterans Cup Series Scramble - On each hole, both members of the team hit a tee shot from their designated tee. The team then selects one of the tee shots and marks the spot from which to play. Both players will play the next shot from within one club length (through the green) and once again select the shot and mark the spot from which to play. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed. On the putting green, the shot must be played from within one putter-head length.
PRIZES
Qualifiers will proceed to the Two-Person Veterans Cup Series Championship at Bull Valley Country Club on Monday, October 5th.
FIELD
11 Teams - divided into up to two flights (based on team scramble index). Flights will be displayed at registration and on the Golf Genius portal page. The top 2 gross and net teams from each flight will advance to the Final.

YARDAGE BOOK
The CDGA is proud to partner with PuttView for the 2026 Championships season. Yardage books are available for purchase for all CDGA, USGA and Illinois State Championship qualifying sites at THIS LINK. Yardage + Green Map books are $30 per book. This discounted price will automatically be applied at checkout when purchasing through the dedicated link. PuttView is graciously donating 20% of every purchase to the CDGA Foundation.
PRACTICE ROUND
The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.
DRIVING RANGE
Driving range will open at 8:00 a.m. courtesy of the CDGA.
GOLF CARTS
Will be provided to each team - courtesy of the CDGA.
CADDIES
Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie (if available)
PULL CARTS
Are permitted. Player are encouraged to bring their own.
FOOD SERVICES
Drinking Water: Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of drinking water to each event. The CDGA will make every effort to arrange for drinking water to be available. However, please note that not all facilities may be able to fulfill this request.
Lunch: Box Lunches by Jersey Mike’s will be provided to all players. Dinner: Post-event food and beverage will be available for purchase to all players. LOCKER ROOMS

A team’s total index will be used to establish a team course handicap based on the recommended USGA handicap formula specific for scramble play. An individual player’s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event and will be capped at a Course Handicap of 36.
