Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any active CDGA member who has reached his 25th birthday on or before the start of the Championship, and has a current handicap index not exceeding 7.4. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.

FORMAT

This is a one-day, 18-hole stroke play qualifier.

PRIZES

Qualifiers will proceed to the CDGA Mid-Amateur Championship at Glen Flora Country Club (see Additional Info below for details).

Tee times will begin at 8:00 a.m. off #1 on the White Course.

YARDAGE BOOK

The CDGA is proud to partner with PuttView for the 2026 Championships season. Yardage books are available for purchase for all CDGA, USGA and Illinois State Championship qualifying sites at THIS LINK. Yardage + Green Map books are $30 per book. This discounted price will automatically be applied at checkout when purchasing through the dedicated link. PuttView is graciously donating 20% of every purchase to the CDGA Foundation. Complimentary yardage books will be provided to all players successfully qualifying for any Illinois State or CDGA Championship.

PRACTICE ROUND

Briar Ridge Country Club is allowing practice rounds, subject to course availability. There will be a $60 fee, and players may bring a guest at the same rate.

DRIVING RANGE

The driving range will open at 7:00 a.m., courtesy of the CDGA.

GOLF CARTS

Riding carts are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts. A maximum of two carts per group will be allowed.

Spectator carts are not allowed - please view the policy regarding requests for cart usage under the ADA. The policy is located in the link at the top of the page.

CADDIES

Individual caddies are permitted at all CDGA-administered events.

PULL CARTS

Pull carts are permitted at all events. You are encouraged to bring your own.

FOOD SERVICES

Drinking Water: Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of drinking water to each event. The CDGA will make every effort to arrange for drinking water to be available. However, please note that not all facilities may be able to fulfill this request.
Breakfast: If breakfast is available, players may order and will pay cash or credit.
Lunch: If lunch is available, players may order and will pay cash or credit.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK (May 11-13) IS BASED ON THE HOST CLUB SCHEDULE:
Monday: stroke play qualifying in the morning to determine the low 16 advancing to match play. Round of 16 matches begin in the afternoon directly after stroke play qualifying.
Tuesday: Quarterfinal matches in the morning and Semifinal matches in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Championship match in the morning.
