ANNOUNCEMENTS

ONE BALL RULE: Model Local Rule G-4 is in effect for all stages of this championship.

Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any active CDGA Member who has a current handicap index not exceeding 7.4. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry, and extend special invitations.

FORMAT

All players who qualify for the Championship (June 22 - 25) will play 36 holes of stroke play qualifying on Monday to determine the low 16 advancing to match play. Matches will be conducted Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All matches are 18 holes with the exception of the Championship match, which is 36 holes.

PRIZES

Appropriate prizes and golf shop merchandise certificates will be awarded.

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

Edgewood Valley is allowing practice rounds. Contestants can play Tuesday - Sunday after 3:00 p.m. Greens fee is $100 not including a cart. If contestants choose to take a cart the cart fee is $24. All practice time rounds are based on availability. You MUST pay Cash or Sign back to a club.

DRIVING RANGE

Will be available.

GOLF CARTS

Are not permitted. Spectator carts are strictly prohibited.

CADDIES

Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie. Please call Kevin to reserve a caddie (708-246-2800).

PULL CARTS

Are permitted however Edgewood Valley will not have pull carts available.

FOOD SERVICES

Breakfast: If available, players pay cash.
Lunch: Will be provided each day to contestants, courtesy of the CDGA.

36-hole stroke play qualifying on Monday. Round of 16 will be Tuesday afternoon, quarterfiinals will be Wednesday starting at 7:30 a.m., semi-finals on Wednesday afternoon, and the 36-Hole Final will be Thursday starting at 8:00 a.m.
