Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any amateur who is a current resident of Illinois, has a current handicap not exceeding 7.4, and who has reached his 25th birthday on or before the start of the Championship. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.

FORMAT

This is a 54-hole stroke play Championship taking place August 17 - 18. All players will play 36 holes on Monday, with the low 35 players and ties advancing to the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

FIELD

Exempt players and qualifiers play 36-Holes on Tuesday with low 35 and ties advancing to the final 18-holes Wednesday.

STARTING TIMES

7:30 am off #1 & #10 and again at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, August 30. Wednesday, August 31 tee times will start at 8:00 am.

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

Flossmoor CC is allowing contestants to play a practice round. You must call the golf shop to make arrangements (708) 798-1141. All practice rounds are based on availability. The greens fee is $85. You may take a cart or caddie for an additional price. Monday, August 29 NO practice rounds available.

DRIVING RANGE

Opens at 6:30am courtesy of the CDGA.

GOLF CARTS

Are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts. Spectator carts are strictly prohibited.

CADDIES

Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie (if available)

PULL CARTS

Are permitted - Flossmoor does have a few pull carts for rent ($9 each)

FOOD SERVICES

Breakfast: If available players pay cash.
Lunch: Available from 11:30am-3:00pm courtesy of the CDGA.

In the event of a tie for the championship, there will be an immediate three-hole total stroke playoff. If a tie remains, play will proceed on a sudden-victory basis. Should conditions not permit, the CDGA reserves the rights to alter the playoff or tournament format.
