Illinois State Public Links Championship

The Illinois State Public Links Championship was held annually by the Chicago District Golf Association from 1992-2014. The first championship was held in 1992 and the winner was Jeff Matheson. In 2001, the format was changed from an 18-hole championship to a 36-hole championship. All competitors played 18 holes the first day with the low 20 and ties advancing to the final day. The champion of this tournament was the recipient of the Joe Jemsek Trophy.

The Illinois State Public Links Championship was discontinued after the 2014 event.
