About Us

CDGA Foundation

Founded in 1944 for returning veterans from World War II, the CDGA Foundation secures and administers philanthropic support to advance the mission and programs of the CDGA. We recognize the life-changing benefits of golf and the importance of giving back to our community. Every donation to the CDGA Foundation contributes to furthering access and inclusion within our District, so that we can grow the game for all.

CDGA Sunshine Programs

Adaptive
Presented via a new partnership with USAGA, clinics and school programs allow individuals with physical disabilities to enjoy the game through modified rules and equipment. Golf outings hosted in collaboration with the Hines VA Blind Rehabilitation Center help empower veterans with visual impairments to live as independently as possible.

Therapeutic
Over the past 25 years, the Sunshine Through Golf Camp Program has brought joy into the lives of thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Since 1944, the CDGA has used golf clinics as restorative tools to support the health and healing of our nation's veterans, while also bringing playing opportunities to active-duty military and their families.
