Rules of Golf

The CDGA is your local Rules of Golf resource

The United States Golf Association (USGA), in conjunction with The R&A in St. Andrews, Scotland, writes, interprets and maintains the Rules of Golf to guard the tradition and integrity of the game. Beginning on Jan. 1, 2023, the USGA and R&A’s new Rules of Golf went into effect. Both organizations serve as the authors and owners of The Rules of Golf and Decisions on the Rules of Golf.

As an Allied Golf Association of the USGA, the CDGA is your local Rules of Golf expert. See below for links to helpful resources and contact information.
