NATHAN, SZWEDA SECURE OVERALL TRIUMPHS AT SUPER SENIOR FINALE IN OAK BROOK

OAK BROOK – The 13th edition of the CDGA Super Senior Championship presented by Tour Edge was played at Oak Brook Golf Club, where 78 golfers aged 65 and older competed in five flights for a variety of prizes offered by both Tour Edge and the CDGA.

Andy Nathan (CDGA Member's Club) claimed the overall gross title with a 2-under 70 while Walter Szweda (Fox Bend GC) carded a net score of 8-under 64 to earn overall net champion honors. Nathan's scorecard featured a total of five birdies with only three bogeys being recorded. A net eagle along with nine net birdies helped Szweda prevail as the overall net champion. A gross and net winner from each flight were awarded prizes as well.

A flighted event, the Super Senior Championship is part of the CDGA’s robust slate of Social Competitions, which provide casually competitive playing opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, age and genders.
