The CDGA VGA Two-Person Veterans Cup Series is a premier social competition featuring five Qualifiers feeding into a Championship event. All events will be flighted and contested using players’ up-to-date Handicap Index®. Designed to honor their service, this series offers veterans and now first responders, a platform to showcase their skills and competitive spirit on the course. The events will be held in conjunction with the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA), a group dedicated to enriching the lives of veterans and their family members through camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf. Join the CDGA and VGA as they celebrate the dedication and resilience of our military veterans in this unforgettable golfing experience.

• Two-Person team Scramble - All teams will compete for Gross and Net
• Five Qualifiers will take place throughout 2026. The number of teams entered at each Qualifier will determine the number of flights (maximum of four). The top two gross and top two net teams from each flight at the qualifier will become eligible for the Championship.
• Teams can participate in more than one qualifier. Each qualifier will be limited to the first 48 teams to sign up.

• Both players in a two-person team must be active CDGA members. One member of the team must be a veteran, active duty military or a first responder, and the other may be another veteran, friend, or family member (parent, spouse, child, sibling) of someone who served in the Armed Forces. Both players must have active Handicap ID's and registered a CDGA Player Profile to complete registration.
• Following online registration via the links at the bottom of this page, veterans will need to submit proof of military or first responder service to the event organizers
  • This can be done by emailing a DD214, Driver's License with Veteran Status, or a form of identification indicating you are a first responder to the CDGA's Kayla Fahrenbach at kfahrenbach@cdga.org.
  • *Family & Friend members will not need to show proof of military related relationship*
• One individual must complete online registration for each team. All team members must be active CDGA members with a registered Golf Genius Player Profile at the time of online registration.
• If an interested individual does not have a partner, one can be assigned based on qualifier location availability. If you wish to be teamed up with another individual, contact the CDGA's Kayla Fahrenbach at kfahrenbach@cdga.org or (630) 685-2301
