PULTORAK, HEAD SHINE IN WOMEN’S TOUR EDGE TRIFECTA FINALE
WHEATON, Ill. – The CDGA Women’s Tour Edge Trifecta Series wrapped up the third season of competition on Wednesday as Kristie Pultorak (Eagle Ridge Resort) and Patty Head (Timber Creek GC) prevailed as champions, earning top net honors over the field. The duo’s finish was bolstered by seven net birdies and a lone net eagle on the par-5 13th, leading to a net better ball score of 8-under 64.

The field for the Championship was determined through qualifiers earlier this season at Phillips Park Golf Course in Aurora, Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, and Glenview Park Golf Club in Glenview. At the finale, the top gross and net duos, along with the season-long points champions, earned Stay & Play packages to Tullymore Golf Resort in Mecosta County, Michigan. Additional prizes, including clubs from Tour Edge and other items from partners, were awarded to top finishers.

Senior and Super Senior Championship: Thursday, Sept. 18
CDGA SENIOR TOUR EDGE TRIFECTA REACHES ITS CONCLUSION AT ARROWHEAD GC
WHEATON, Ill. – The curtain closed on the season-long CDGA Senior Tour Edge Trifecta Series Thursday at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, where six of the 33 Championship pairs finished strong, each earning a Stay & Play trip to Michigan’s Tullymore Golf Resort.

Season Long Standings)
The Senior division (age 55-64) title of low net was claimed by the duo of
Tom Hutchison (Schaumburg GC) and
Norman Zerfas (Schaumburg GC). Five net birdies, four net eagles and a net ace surged the pair to a winning score of 7-under 65. Low gross honors were awarded to
Dean Kirchoff (CDGA Member’s Club) and
Mark Muench (CDGA Member’s Club).
Among the Super Seniors (65 and up), the pairing of
Jeffrey Messacar (CDGA Member’s Club) and
Jeff Hart (CDGA Member’s Club) were crowned champions, recording a net better ball score of 10-under 62. Messacar and Hart did not card a single net bogey on the day and tallied eight birdies and an eagle on the par-5 2nd.
Bob Silvestri (Village Links) and
William Daddono (Maple Meadows GC) earned low gross honors in the Super Senior division.
The field of finalists was determined by performances in three qualifiers held earlier in the summer, each using a different format. A season-long points list was formulated from results at Phillips Park Golf Course (net better ball), Cog Hill Golf & Country Club (net scramble) and Glenview Park Golf Club (net combined stableford).
Tom Hutchison (Schaumburg GC) and
Norman Zerfas (Schaumburg GC) and
Michael Bodendorfer (Cog Hill G&CC) and
Frank Sangiacomo (Cog Hill G&CC) received recognition for finishing top on the Senior and Super Senior points lists, respectively.
In addition to the Tullymore trips, individuals also claimed prizes from the likes of Tour Edge and other partners.
With both the women’s and senior finals complete, the 2025 CDGA Tour Edge Trifecta Series has concluded. In total, over 500 golfers competed across the qualifiers and the championships. Thank you to all who played in 2025!
