Haffner’s scorecard featured a mere one bogey followed by a total of four birdies, including two back-to-back on No. 8 and No. 9. Dennis Burke (Cog Hill G&CC) secured the overall net title with a net score 3-under 68. A net eagle on the par-4 No. 5 and four net birdies across the card proved key for Burke’s victory. A gross and net winner from each flight were awarded prizes as well.

A flighted event, the Super Senior Championship is part of the CDGA’s robust slate of Social Competitions, which provide casually competitive playing opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, age and genders.
