Women's Championship: Wednesday, Sept. 27
WHEATON, Ill. – The first standalone CDGA Women's Senior Tour Edge Trifecta Series culminated Wednesday at Arrowhead Golf Club. The duo of Patricia Polachek (Bartlett Hills GC) and Liz Yacono (Bartlett Hills GC) emerged victorious, carding a total score of 28 under after six holes each of net better ball, scramble and combined Stableford.

In total, 16 duos earned spots to compete in the Championship through qualifiers earlier in the year at Makray Memorial Golf Club in North Barrington, Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont and Glenview Park Golf Club in Glenview. The top two teams at the Championship were awarded Stay & Play packages to Tullymore Golf Resort in Mecosta County, Michigan, with other prizes from the likes of Tour Edge, Rocket Tour and Zero Friction being awarded.
WOMEN'S DIVISION

WHEATON, Ill. – The second season of the men’s CDGA Senior Tour Edge Trifecta Series, which saw qualifiers at Makray Memorial Golf Club in North Barrington, Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont and Glenview Park Golf Club in Glenview earlier in the year, came to a close at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton. Following the format of each qualifier, the Championship featured 15 Senior and 15 Super Senior duos competing in 18 holes of three different scoring formats - net better ball, scramble and combined Stableford.

In the Senior division - players age 55 to 64 - the tandem of Jeffrey Messacar (CDGA Member’s Club) and Jeff Hart (CDGA Member’s Club) claimed the overall title with a total score of 26 under. Meanwhile, in the Super Senior Division - players age 65 and older - the duo of Tom Billeter (Eagle Brook CC) and Kevin Skogsberg (Eagle Brook CC) - earned the title with a total score of 29 under.
The top two teams in each division were awarded Stay & Play packages to Tullymore Golf Resort in Mecosta County, Michigan, along with a slew of prizes from the likes of Tour Edge, Rocket Tour and Zero Friction. With the men’s Senior and Super Senior seasons now complete, the women will take center stage at Arrowhead Golf Club on Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Women age 50 and up and men age 55 and up will have the opportunity to compete in three different Qualifiers - each with a different format. Those who qualify for the year-end Championship on Sept. 21 will play six holes of each format at Arrowhead Golf Club.
