OVERVIEW

Must be 21 years of age to participate.

FORMAT

This is an 18-hole stroke play team event. All Teams will compete in both the Gross and Net divisions. Scoring will be a combined stableford using current handicap indexes. Players are awarded points based upon their score in relation to par on each hole. The winner of either the Gross or Net division will be the team who scores the highest number of points.

ELIGIBILITY

Age Limit: min: 21        Index Limit: max: 36

Any male and female who are active members of the CDGA with a valid USGA Handicap Index ® are welcome to participate and may enter as a team. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.

Players will receive 100% of their handicap. An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event. 

FIELD

Limited to 64 teams. Registration fee is $350 per team.

STARTING TIMES

The Championship will be a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Confirmations will be emailed to the field 7-10 days prior to the Championship. All start times will be emailed to the field 3-5 days prior to the Championship.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 Gross and Net teams.

TIES

In the event of a tie for first place in the Championship, under Committee Procedures 5A(6)c (play-of in stroke play), a hole-by-hole playoff will commence immediately following the round. At the Committee?s discretion, a hole-by-hole playoff may be deemed infeasible due to darkness, weather, or any other reason. In this scenario, and in the case of a tie for any other place, the Committee will use the USGA recommendation for breaking ties, found in Committee Procedures 5A(6)d. The definition of the term ``last nine holes`` will be holes 10-18.

HANDICAP ALLOWANCE

Players will receive 100% of their handicap.
