OVERVIEW

Must be 21 years of age to participate.

FORMAT

Two-Person Scramble - On each hole, both members of the team hit a tee shot from their designated tee. The team then selects one of the tee shots and marks the spot from which to play. Both players will play the next shot from within one club length (through the green), no closer to the hole and maintaining the same condition, and once again select the shot and mark the spot from which to play. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed. On the putting green, the shot must be played from within one putter-head length.

ELIGIBILITY

Age Limit: min: 21        

Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age with a valid USGA Handicap Index® - Men and Women are welcome to participate. Maximum Handicap of 36.0. 

FIELD

Limited to 52 teams per qualifier. Registration fee is $350 per team.

PAIRINGS

STARTING TIMES

The qualifier will be a shotgun start. Confirmations will be emailed to the field 11-14 days prior to the qualifier. All start times will be emailed to the field 3-7 days prior to the qualifier.

PRIZES

Gift certificates to Sand Valley Golf Resort and an array of prizes from the CDGA and our corporate partners will be awarded to the top gross and top net teams in each of the four flights at the Final.

Prizes and giveaways will also be awarded throughout the year at both Qualifiers and the Championship from the CDGA.

TIES

In the event of a tie for a qualifying place, under Committee Procedures 5A(6) matching scorecards, the Committee will use the USGA recommendation for breaking ties. The definition of the term ``last nine holes`` will be holes 10-18.

HANDICAP ALLOWANCE

A team`s total index will be used to establish a team course handicap based on the recommended USGA handicap formula specific for scramble play. An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event and will be capped at 36.
