FORMAT

Two competitors play as partners, each playing his or her own ball while using handicap strokes. Each player will receive 65% of their handicap index, as recommended by X-Golf. The lower Net score of the partners is the score for the team on that hole, thus taking the score of the better ball on each hole. It is the player`s responsibility to know the holes at which handicap strokes are to be given or received.

The Championship will be contested on Pebble Beach Golf Links.

ELIGIBILITY

Age Limit: min: 21        Index Limit: max: 25

Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age - Men and Women with a valid USGA Handicap Index® are welcome to participate. 

FIELD

The Championship will be hosted at X-Golf Schaumburg on Saturday, May 11.

$200 entry fee is per team.

STARTING TIMES

The Championship will begin at 9:30 a.m. (subject to change based on club needs and entries). Teams may begin warming up 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

PRIZES

The top-three teams from the Championship on Saturday, May 11 will receive prizes courtesy of Geneva National Resort & Club.

TIES

All ties are broken using a scorecard playoff (holes 10-18). If the tying teams have the same score for the last nine, the winner will be determined on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th hole. This method will be repeated using the first nine, if necessary.

HANDICAP ALLOWANCE

Players will receive 65% of their handicap, as recommended by X-Golf. Prior to each event, An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective May 4, 2024.

ADDITIONAL INFO

All scoring will be done electronically for the Indoor Net Series. You MUST use the My CDGA app on your smartphone to access your scorecard.
