In regard to the outbreak of the coronavirus as it relates to CDGA and CDGA Foundation programs, events, and activities, we will always make our decisions based on the safety and welfare of our members and their families, our Board of Directors and their families, and our staff and their families. We have been closely monitoring what is taking place and we will continue to rely on information, guidelines, and regulations from the international, national and local health organizations and administrators. A fact-based resource we have been utilizing and encourage all members to familiarize themselves with is the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 website.

CDGA and CDGA Foundation Events

In conjunction with the public health recommendations and mandates surrounding the ongoing situation, a variety of CDGA and CDGA Foundation events and programs have been canceled, postponed or modified. CLICK HERE for a full list of all cancelations/modifications (as of June 17).

We will continue to monitor the evolving situation as it pertains to upcoming events and make decisions in the appropriate timeframe. All individuals who have registered for an upcoming tournament and/or social event are encouraged to not withdraw – should the event need to be postponed or canceled, we will provide ample opportunity for all registrants to receive a full refund.

Lastly, we will utilize modern technology to the best of our ability to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. The CDGA staff is fully equipped to work remotely. Through this entire time, no matter how long it might last, we plan to continue to function as close to normal as possible.

We will continue to keep our members informed as the situation continues to evolve and, once again, we will base our decisions on the safety and well-being for all of us.
