2023 CDGA SOCIAL COMPETITIONS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION | |
Monday, February 6, 2023 - LEMONT, Ill. - Registration for the CDGA`s 2023 slate of fun and casually-competitive events, dubbed CDGA Social Competitions, is now open. Golfers of all genders, skill levels and ages can sign up for these increasingly popular events on CDGA.org as of Monday morning. The Social Competitions schedule features events suitable for all golfers. It consists of four-person team, two-person team and individual net playing opportunities, in addition to events with no competitive elements. New to the calendar in 2023 are the CDGA Family Classic presented by Zero Friction - July 10 at Prairie Landing Golf Club - and the CDGA/ESPN 1000 Listener Appreciation Golf Outing - July 28 at Glenview Park Golf Club. Social Competitions begin in early spring with a CDGA KemperSports Two-Person Scramble event on May 2 at The Glen Club and extend through the fall with a CDGA Member Day presented by Tour Edge at Lost Dunes on Oct. 9. In total, 31 event days comprise the 2023 slate. Registration for events on the 2023 CDGA Championship schedule, which is comprised of highly-competitive playing opportunities for elite amateur golfers, opened on Jan. 17. Chicago District Golf Association The Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) is authorized by the United States Golf Association (USGA) as the governing body for amateur golf in our region. The CDGA is a membership organization consisting of more than 105,000 individual golfers and 400 clubs in Illinois and parts of Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
