2024 CDGA CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION OPENS | |
Tuesday, January 16, 2024 - LEMONT, Ill. – The CDGA’s slate of 10 championships and their associated qualifiers are open for registration, as of Tuesday morning. Skilled male and female golfers looking for first-class competitive playing opportunities can sign up for these events at CDGA.org. The 2024 season represents the 111th year of the CDGA conducting amateur competitions. The slate is highlighted by stalwarts such as the 93rd Illinois State Amateur Championship, July 16-18 at Atkins Golf Club at the University of Illinois, and the 104th CDGA Amateur Championship, June 24-27 at The Beverly Country Club. Additionally, the CDGA will be administering two Women’s Championships for the first time in 2024 – the 91st Illinois State Women’s Amateur Championship, June 10-12 at The Grove Country Club, and the 55th Illinois State Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, Sept. 16-18 at South Side Country Club. The rest of the CDGA Championship Schedule consists of six additional events – two specific for mid-amateurs (25 and up), two for seniors (55 and up) and two for teams – as well as 19 CDGA-conducted USGA qualifiers and the 62nd Radix Cup Matches. Complementing the CDGA Championship Schedule is the CDGA Social Competitions slate. These events are more casual in nature and provide playing opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, genders and ages. Sign up for these events begins on Monday, Feb. 5.
