For more than a century, the CDGA and CDGA Foundation have used the game of golf to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals across our region. From supporting our nation’s heroes in the early 1900s to today’s programs serving youth, veterans, and individuals with special needs, this impact has been made possible by generous donors who believe in the notion that we are all Better Through Golf.

What is the CDGA Legacy Society?

The CDGA Legacy Society honors individuals and families who include the CDGA Foundation in their estate or financial plans. By making a legacy commitment, you help ensure that golf continues to brighten lives in the Chicago District for generations to come through CDGA Sunshine Programs, Midwest Golf House, and the Bob Berry Sunshine Course.

How Legacy Gifts Help

• Sustain and strengthen the Midwest Golf House complex as the home for golf in the Chicago District.
• Support CDGA Sunshine Programs and community initiatives that create access to the game and opportunities for local youth, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
• Provide flexible future resources so the Foundation can respond to new opportunities and emerging needs across our region.

Simple Ways to Join

• Add the CDGA Foundation to your will or living trust with a specific amount or percentage.
• Name the CDGA Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, IRA, life insurance policy, or other financial accounts. You can use this online tool to designate the CDGA Foundation as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.

Your Legacy, Recognized Today

CDGA Legacy Society members are recognized and thanked during their lifetimes for their future commitments, with the option to remain anonymous if preferred. With your permission, you may be acknowledged in select publications and at special events, and you will receive updates on the Foundation and the impact your gift helps sustain.
