Beginning with the CDGA Amateur Championship that was created the same year the Association was formed, the CDGA’s tournament program has played a large role in growing the game of golf in the District. Over the years, the CDGA has expanded its tournament schedule to include events specific to seniors, mid-amateurs and public course members, all while maintaining the same principles that have led to high-quality events for the past 100-plus years.
Listed below are the eight Championships that the CDGA currently operates, as well as the honorary Radix Cup Matches. Click on each tournament’s name for a year-by-year history of the event.
